C.O.P.S. Arizona
C.O.P.S. Arizona is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Their programs and services are funded by private donations and supporter’s purchase of the Arizona state license plate, Families of Fallen Police Officers. Their membership is over 300 families – it includes spouses, children, parents, siblings, significant others, and affected co-workers of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty according to federal government criteria - they are the state chapter of the National Organization of C.O.P.S.
I am responsible for directing and managing all aspects of the organization's design initiatives. This encompasses a broad spectrum of responsibilities, including the conceptualization, creation, and maintenance of various digital assets such as the official website, mobile application, and social media platforms.
Additionally, I am actively involved in developing and designing materials for the chapter's events, including but not limited to event signage, promotional flyers, and email communications. I extend my design expertise to the creation of business cards and other collateral essential for maintaining a cohesive visual identity for the organization.
One notable project under my leadership is the design of the chapter's exclusive Arizona license plate dedicated to Fallen Officers. Through meticulous planning and execution, the license plate has become a significant source of revenue, generating approximately $30,000 per month for the organization. This financial contribution has greatly supported C.O.P.S. in its mission to assist the families of law enforcement officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
Beyond the realm of design, I play a pivotal role in overseeing the entire digital presence of the chapter. This involves collaborating with the board members, actively participating in monthly board meetings, and ensuring that marketing campaigns and deliverables align with the organization's objectives. My commitment to maintaining a consistent and impactful digital presence contributes to the overall success and outreach of the Arizona chapter of C.O.P.S.
